Proud to look after a place guests return to year after year

Howgill has welcomed visitors for generations, and we feel incredibly lucky to care for such a well-loved site. Guests often tell us they love countryside breaks but find many places either losing their character or lacking the small comforts that make a stay easy and special.

Drawn to Howgill’s hillside setting and sweeping Wharfe Valley views, our aim is simple, to preserve what guests already love while carefully maintaining and enhancing the site so it stays modern without losing its traditional charm.

We want it to remain a relaxed, well-kept place where families and couples can unwind, explore, and feel at home from the moment they arrive.
